When incoming President Jonathan Brand visited campus on Feb. 18, he spoke in King Chapel and met with students, faculty, staff, and community members. He also sat down for an interview for the Cornell Report and the Cornellian

Purple Pennant Project

There are Cornellians all over the world, and they travel to vacations, for business, or to learn. We've launched the Purple Pennant Project, which is simple: Cut out the Purple Pennant that was included in the Fall 2010 Cornell Report, take it with you, and snap a picture. C’YA, Cornell’s young alumni network, kicked off new networking events this month in Iowa City, Chicago, and Minneapolis.  The Alumni Office and Career Engagement Center teamed up to offer these successful new programs, which game alumni  the opportunity to expand their Cornell network. CCCC Lunch and Learn

Cornell students engaged Chicago Area Alumni with research from their block three course “Contemporary Chicago: The Interplay of Economics, Community and Politics in Urban Development” during the CCCC Lunch and Learn on Nov. 10. Taught by President Les Garner and Chicagoan Mike Conklin ’69, students spent much of the course in Chicago. View the gallery
