CULTURAL LESSONS

ALUMNI FELLOWS PROGRAM
There are Cornell alumni worldwide doing every sort of job imaginable. For each of these alumni, there is a Cornell student interested in that job or field. This fall the college is initiating a program to link distinguished alumni with talented Cornell students in internship endeavors that will make a real difference in the lives and future careers of those students. We’re calling it the Alumni Fellows Program.
KEEP CURRENT WITH CORNELL
Since the Cornell e-News launch in March 2004, many e-mail providers and corporations have intensified their mail filters and firewalls to prevent e-nuisances. Unfortunately that means that some well-meaning messages, like Cornell's, may not be getting through either. There are two ways to increase the likelihood of your Cornell e-News' successful delivery.
1. Confirm your subscription. Even if you already successfully receive e-News, it is a great idea to confirm your subscription. This means you have given your e-mail provider permission to let e-News through the filters. Simply go to the bottom of this newsletter and click "confirm."
2. Another strategy would be to add the e-News address (the e-mail address listed in the "from" field of this newsletter) to your computer's address book or contact list.
