Cornell College Alumni Awards
Young Alumni Achievement Award
Established in May 2001, this award is designed to recognize established and future leaders among Cornell College’s young alumni, defined as those who have been an alumnus for 15 years or less. Standards for recognition include one or more of the following: Demonstrated leadership capability, substantial indication of a commitment to the service of others, demonstration of potential for leadership/distinction in the long term, and substantial commitment to Cornell College and its mission. Up to one award is presented each year. Nominations are now being accepted.
Distinguished Achievement Award
Formerly the Alumni Achievement Award, the Distinguished Achievement Award is the highest joint honor awarded by the college and the Alumni Association.The basis of this award is outstanding generosity and/or service to the college; outstanding participation in community and civic affairs; and unusual achievement in one's field of endeavor. This award is given at the Homecoming Convocation.
Leadership and Service Award
Given to alumni who have done "good work" in any area. Formerly the "Award of Merit," it is presented to "members of our constituency who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in their careers or professions, and whose work has contributed to the betterment of their community and its citizens, and whose commitment to the college has remained strong for many years." This award can be presented at any time.

Athletics Hall of Fame
Nominees for the Athletics Hall of Fame will be inducted during Homecoming weekend 2008, October 9-11. The nominee must have been out of college for at least 10 years.
