2012 Alumni Directory

Cornell’s 2012 alumni directory project has begun! Over the next few months, Publishing Concepts, Inc. (PCI) will be contacting Cornell alumni via mail, phone and e-mail to request that you update your information.

We understand that you might not want to provide your information to just anyone, so we want you to know their request for your information is legitimate.

If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact the Alumni Office toll free at (877) 683-7666 or alumni@cornellcollege.edu.

Below is a list of Frequently Asked Questions regarding the directory:

How do I make an update or verify that my information is correct?
There are a few ways to accomplish this.  If you have received an email or postcard with a telephone number, you may call to speak witha representative who will walk you thorugh the verification process.  if you have received an email with a personalized URL, you may go to the secure online site to check your information.  If you have questions, you may call PCI's customer service desk toll free at (800) 982-1590.

What will an e-mail request look like?
The e-mail you will receive will be sent from Lisa White, Director of Alumni, at cornellcollege-reply@publishingconcepts.com. It will feature the Cornell College logo and an electronic signature.

If you receive any other suspicious e-mail messages requesting that you reply via e-mail to verify alumni information, these are likely scams. The only way Cornell College is collecting updates for this project is through the toll-free number and the secure online site; the legitimate message will NOT ask you to reply via e-mail. If you have any questions about the legitimacy of an e-mail message you receive, please feel free to contact the Cornell College Alumni Office toll free at (877) 683-7666 or write us at alumni@cornellcollege.edu.

Why do I need to update my information?
1.    Information changes quickly - mailing addresses, e-mail addresses, children, etc.
2.    Cornell recently converted to a new database.  This is a great time to ensure that your information is correct and up to date.
3.    The 2012 Cornell College Alumni Directory will be a permanent record of Cornell College indicating who attended Cornell and where alumni are in the world as of 2011.
4.    It will help your friends stay connected.

How long do I have to make changes and still have them appear in the directory?
Any changes submitted before November 15, 2011 will be reflected in the directory.

Can I choose what information is listed in the directory?
Absolutely. You may tell the caller what information you would prefer to have excluded when you call to update/verify your information. You may also communicate this information to the PCI customer service desk at (800) 982-1590 or the Cornell College Alumni Office toll free at (877) 683-7666.

When can I order a 2012 Cornell College Alumni Directory and when will I receive it?
You may order a directory at the time you call to update your information or anytime thereafter until November 15, 2011. Directories will be shipped in early March 2012.

Is there an environmentally-friendly version of the Alumni Directory?
Yes.  Alumni may purchase a CD-ROM of the 2012 Cornell College Alumni Directory.

How much does the directory cost?
A print or CD-ROM version of the directory is available for $89.95 plus $9.95 shipping and handling.  You can also order the print directory together with the CD-ROM for $129.95 plus $15.95.  (This package comes with a complimentary companion airline voucher.  It is essentially a "buy-one-get-one-free" airline ticket).

I ordered a directory/package over the phone and would like to cancel my order.  How do I do this?
Call the PCI customer service help desk at (800) 982-1590, and they will take care of this for you.

When will I receive my directory?
