Cornell Welcomes RAGBRAI

On Friday, July 25, Cornell and Mount Vernon welcomed nearly 15,000 riders and their support vehicles as they biked through Mount Vernon for the 36th Register’s Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI). Faculty and staff greeted riders—especially Cornellians—at an Alumni booth with free wrist bands.

Sutliff Bridge Collapse

A section of the historic Sutliff Bridge, a favorite destination for many Cornellians, collapsed on June 13 due to rising flood waters.  The Sutliff Store and Tavern sustained minor flood damage but re-opened for business just one week later. You can click here to view an article and to view photos
