Hometown: Breckenridge, Colo.

About me: I am a 2010 graduate of Grinnell College where I majored in Sociology and completed an American Studies concentration. As a student, I was the executive council chair of the Student Alumni Association, worked as a student manager for the phonathon program, served as Editor-in-Chief for a student publication, lived as a Student Advisor, and completed a summer research project focused on planning for end of life care. My hobbies include hiking, reading, cooking, and traveling.  I also spend a lot of time starting projects I find on Pinterest. Luckily, my brave husband has a knack for finishing those projects when I get frustrated! I have four pets:  two Tiger cats named Ansel and Ike, a Russian Blue cat named Dill (whom I rescued from a snow bank one winter night in Iowa), and a Yellow Lab puppy named Mae.

One place I recommend students visit on campus: The Anderson Museum in Norton - I am fascinated by fossils and can spend hours exploring this geology museum.

What I can do for you: As your admission counselor, I am here to teach prospective students about all that Cornell College has to offer.  I can help guide you through the entire college process (it's not as scary as it seems, I promise!).  I can answer questions about Cornell College and the the entire college search.  Whether you are trying to figure out how to complete the Common Application, how to interact with a professor, or what to bring when you are moving to small town Iowa, I am just a quick call, e-mail, or text away!  I am regionally based in Broomfield, Colorado and am happy to meet you in person in the Denver metro area.
