About Me: I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in 2005 and my master’s from Grand Valley State University in 2008. I grew up on the coast of Lake Michigan where I developed a love for the outdoors and the beauty of nature.  I moved to Mount Vernon in the summer of 2010 and have been amazed by the natural and historic beauty of this amazing town and surrounding areas. I am continually impressed by the faculty, staff, and students that are drawn to Cornell!

One place I recommend students visit on campus: Take a walk along the Ped Mall paying attention to the immense views both north and south of campus. To the north you’ll look over the sports complex and fields. To the south you’ll see Ink Pond and, on really clear days, you can almost see to Palisades Kepler State Park. Surrounded by such natural beauty, you’ll get a real feel for what it means to be “on the Hilltop.”

What I can do for you: I am a resource for high school students searching for that great college “fit.” It can be overwhelming thinking about where you’re headed for the next four years, but it doesn’t have to be. By getting to know you, I can provide you with all of the great opportunities available at Cornell that meet your interests. Let’s explore together whether Cornell College is a good college choice for you.
