Biographical Sketch

Lisa Hearne, Professor of Music and Director of Choral Music, teaches studio voice and voice-related courses and heads the vocal area at Cornell.  She has led Cornell's choral ensembles on tours in Europe and the United States.  Her students have won first prize at National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) auditions, have professional careers as singers, and are leaders among high school choral directors.  Dr. Hearne is an active soprano soloist, adjudicator, and guest choral conductor.
